Stocktaking Preparatory Meeting for the Global Compact on Migration

The stocktaking phase will assess the inputs received during the consultation phase. 

A preparatory meeting co-chaired by the co-facilitators will be held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from 4 to 6 December 2017 to take stock of the inputs received during the consultation phase.

The Secretary-General will also present a report to provide Member States with recommendations before the beginning of the intergovernmental negotiations beginning of February 2018

UN-Habitat 26th Session of the Governing Council

8-12 May, Nairobi, Kenya - This session of the Governing Council follows the adoption of the New Urban Agenda during the Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III) in Quito, Ecuador in October 2016.

United Nations Economic and Social Council - Humanitarian Affairs Segment

21-23 June 2017 Geneva, Switzerland -  ECOSOC’s Humanitarian Affairs Segment is a unique platform that brings together UN Member States, UN organizations, humanitarian and development partners, the private sector and affected communities.
