16-17 November 2017, Mechelin, Belgium - The Belgian government and the city of Mechelen will host a “Global Conference on Cities and Migrants” on the 16th and 17th of November 2017, together with IOM, UN Habitat and UCLG as institutional partners.

It was established in 2006 and is now the world's foremost gathering of stakeholders committed to reducing disaster risk and building the resilience of communities and nations.
21-24 November 2017, Valletta, Malta - The Commonwealth Local Government Conference is CLGF's flagship event, held every two years in different regions of the Commonwealth. In 2017 the CLGF conference will be held for the first time in Malta. The conference brings together some 500-600 top local government policy makers, practitioners and other key stakeholders - including heads of government, ministers, mayors and council leaders, senior officials, and partners from development agencies, academia, civil society and the finance and corporate sector.
15-16 November 2017, London, United Kingdom - The conference will report on the findings of a three-year project designed to improve knowledge and practice in responding to crises in urban settings, funded by the UK Government's Department for International Development (DFID).
