In October, ICE and the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO) are bringing together the worldwide community to look at how we can trigger real change and deliver the outcomes specified by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Alliance Participation at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF)
The High-Level Political Forum on sustainable development in 2018 (9 - 18 July 2018) will be held under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council in New York, with the Urban Goal SDG 11 under review. This will be the first time the urban crises dimension is highly featured at the HLPF, focusing on the humanitarian – development nexus.
5-9 February 2018 - Geneva, Switzerland - The Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW), co-chaired by OCHA and the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), is an annual event held in Geneva in the first week of February. Since 2015, this event provides a unique forum for humanitarian networks and partnerships to meet and address key humanitarian issues. Networks and Partnerships hold their annual meetings during the week, and work together to find ways to solve common problems.
